Position Overview

We’re seeking a cybersecurity researcher to establish and lead our cyber research division, focusing on aviation-specific threats and cutting-edge defense mechanisms for aircraft systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead embedded systems research – reverse engineer avionics and onboard systems, identifying vulnerabilities at firmware and hardware levels
• Conduct hardware security analysis – probe aircraft microcontrollers, chipsets, and sensors for supply-chain integrity and side-channel vulnerabilities
• Perform RF & wireless investigations – analyze aviation communication protocols including radar, satellite, ADS-B, and GPS systems
• Develop offensive security capabilities – create red team methodologies for aircraft systems while designing corresponding defensive measures
• Build research infrastructure – establish lab capabilities, define research standards, and shape team culture

Required Qualifications

• Strong background in embedded development and reverse engineering techniques
• Experience with hardware hacking and low-level system analysis
• Proficiency with RF/wireless systems and communication protocol analysis
• Hands-on experience with debugging tools, disassemblers, and JTAG/SWD interfaces
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (recommended but not required)
• Knowledge of aviation systems – understanding of avionics, aircraft networks, and aerospace protocols
• Military or satellite communications experience
• OSINT and threat hunting expertise
• Experience with SDR tools and spectrum analysis
• Publications or research contributions in cybersecurity
